Game Reporting

Check in with the Site Coordinator or tournament volunteer at each site.  Center referees will receive a game card.  Complete game cards following each match, referee staff or tournament volunteers will collect completed game cards after each game.  Tournament staff & field marshals  will enter final scores in GotSoccer for tournament standings.  Make sure your completed game card is turned in after each game.

Referees - it is suggested that you take a picture of your completed game card for back up & for your records.  You will also be able to reference the card when completing reports in After Games of

Referees MUST enter scores and complete reports for all games in After Games of  The After Game incident reports are the official misconduct report for the tournament.  All cautions, send offs, sit outs, etc. must be documented ASAP after game completion.  After Games is also your personal referee record of games worked.

Tournament "Must Reads"

"Standby Referee"

Referees are assigned to "standby" during tournaments.  Standby referees must check in at the referee HQ tent with the PTW staff at the schedule time.  Referees on standby may be asked to fill in as needed, assist with errands between fields (i.e. Game card collection, team check-ins, etc.) as requested by the PTW referee site coordinator.  If referees on standby are not present at the referee HQ if needed, or cannot be contacted by PTW staff they will forfeit their standby pay.

If you are scheduled as a "referee" in  for a standby game and you receive a score reminder you must enter a generic score of 99-99 to avoid additional game score reminders.

4th Official

In play-off rounds of competition (semi-final, Championship games) referees assigned as the 4th official work the game and perform the duties of the 4th official unless otherwise re-assigned by a PTW Referee Staff/Mentor.  Review the 4th Official Duties "quick link" provided above for your duties and responsibilities.

Game Cards

Game cards provide the referees at check-in. This is the official report of the game and verification for payroll.  Important competition notes are indicated on the cards. Take note of the length of game, uniform conflict information, type of game (i.e. Group/Preliminary play, consolation, semi-final, championship).

Center referee, both assistant referees & 4th officials must review and print your name on the game card for each game worked.  Complete the game cards at the completion of each game.

PTW does request that ALL center referees enter final game reports/score in After Games for each game.  In the event of inclement weather/lost game card we expect all game scores and incident reports to be in GameOfficials as a back up for tournament standings, and for your personal referee records.

If you are scheduled as a referee for "standby" game  and you receive a score reminder you must enter a generic score of 99-99.
